Materials

  • 1 sheet of cardstock or thick paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue or tape
  • Markers or crayons for decorating

Step-by-step Instructions

1. Cut the Template

Print or draw the car template on cardstock. Cut along the outline, including the fold tabs.

2. Score the Fold Lines

Lightly score along all the fold lines using a ruler and the back of a pen. This helps create clean folds.

3. Fold the Body

Fold the main body section into a rectangular box shape. Apply glue to the tabs and press them inside to hold the shape.

4. Attach the Roof

Fold the roof section down and glue the side tabs to the body. Make sure the roof sits flat.

5. Add the Wheels

Cut out four wheel shapes. Attach them to the sides of the car using glue. Make sure they are evenly spaced.

6. Decorate

Color your car, add windows, headlights, and any details you like. Your paper car is ready to roll!
